The 72nd Shrimp Festival is happening August 14th – 18th in Delcambre. The Festival boasts one of the best music lineups for any festival in South Louisiana. This year it will feature Chris Cagle, Dillon Carmichael, and local favorites. Ryan Foret, Dustin Sonnier, Jaryd Lane, Krossfyre, Cajun Roots, The Beau Young Band, Junior and Sumtin Sneaky, Swampland Revival, and Nicole Marie.

Homegrown Miller Amusement/Cajun Rides produce the Carnival. Jimbo Miller and his family strive to have the best rides at the best value for your family to enjoy.

 In addition to the music, the Delcambre Shrimp Festival is kicking things off on Tuesday the 13th at the Texaco Fuel Depot with a blood drive. Saturday morning, all are invited to the Shrimp Cookoff, and Sunday morning, the annual blessing of the fleet, after a Fisherman’s Mass. The Delcambre Shrimp Festival will sell shrimp in all varieties, including fried and, a favorite, boiled.
