Farmer’s True Value hardware store in Rayne, a building that’s over 100 years old, was engulfed in flames. All employees were able to vacate the building safely firefighters worked to contain the blaze for several hours. Monday was owner Daniel Simoneaux’s 50th birthday. Firefighters from Rayne, Crowley, Branch and Mire were on the scene of the blaze.
