Do you believe in fate? People who do seem to have some advantages over those that don’t. When something good or bad happens, believing that it was fate can help. In a study, students who saw a negative event as “part of God’s plan” worked harder at overcoming challenges. And keeping the faith in hard times boosts mental health by 36 percent.
