With the price of eggs rising, you want to keep them good for as long as possible. To do that, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, you shouldn’t put your eggs in the refrigerator door. The fridge door is the worst place to keep eggs because it is the warmest spot due to the door opening and closing. Instead, put your precious eggs on the middle or bottom shelf because they will be the coldest.
