Five Quick Facts – Clint Black

Today’s Country Legend had twenty-two songs reach number one.

His biggest musical influences were Country Legends, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, and Willie Nelson.

Before getting signed to a deal by RCA records Clint Black worked various jobs including construction worker, bait cutter, and fishing guide, while also singing at various lounges as a solo singer and guitarist.

He taught himself to play harmonica before he was 13, and at 14 wrote his first song.

He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was raised in Katy, Texas.
