Just one more week and Dry January is over. Scientists have noticed a weird side effect from not drinking for a month. Around now, week three, most people have an increased desire for sugar. Preliminary research shows some links between the early stages of sobriety and sugar cravings. Specifically, people who didn’t drink for three weeks reported that they consumed three times more chocolate than those who continued drinking.
