Lafayette Regional Airport is now allowing people to apply for a visitor’s pass into the terminal to eat and watch planes land and take off. LFT has received authorization from The Transportation Security Administration to allow vetted members into the new terminal.

Governor Jeff Landry has approved a $250,000 grant for the town of Basile to improve the area by removing blighted structures.

Ville Platte was also awarded a $500,000 grant that was approved by Governor Jeff Landry to clean up the city.
