Do you talk to your dog like he or she is a baby? That’s a good thing. Dog owners may sound silly when they treat their furry friends like babies, but dogs prefer it that way. A study finds that talking in “dog-speak” to our pets is an important way to bond. The researchers found dogs were likelier to prefer people who spoke to them using dog-speak over those who didn’t.
