The Ragin’ Cajuns fell behind, 24-3, at halftime before a furious second-half rally was halted as the Jaguars stopped a potential, game-tying two-point conversion with 1:16 remaining.
Redshirt senior quarterback Chandler Fields led the charge going 14-for-17 through the air for 185 yards and a touchdown. Fields’ scored his second touchdown on the ground in as many weeks with a 2-yard scoring plunge.
