Several Acadiana teams continue their playoff journey in baseball. In Division I Select, Lafayette High and St. Thomas More are still in contention. Teurlings Catholic, the number one seed, remains alive in Division II Select. Division III Select sees Notre Dame Catholic, New Iberia, and LCA. Notably, Opelousas Catholic, St. Edmund, and Vermilion Catholic are all on the same side of the Division IV Select bracket.

On the Non-Select side, Division I features predominantly Lake Charles area teams, as the majority of Lafayette-area schools (5 of 8) compete in the Select bracket. Division II Non-Select presents a crowded field, including Eunice vs. Brusly, Iota vs. North Vermilion (at Iota), Iowa hosting Pearl River, Rayne hosting Lakeshore, and Breaux Bridge traveling to North DeSoto. In Division III Non-Select, Erath and Mamou face off. Division IV Non-Select matchups include Lake Arthur at number one seed Oak Grove, Oakdale hosting East Iberville, and Welsh hosting Franklin.

In Class B, no Acadiana schools remain. Northside Christian, the lone Acadiana representative in Class C, was eliminated by Singer on Thursday evening.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame will play Dunham tonight at 6:00 PM at Miller Stadium. You can catch the broadcast on Freedom 95.1 and the Freedom 95.1 app.
