Heavy rainfall with tropical-storm force winds are spreading inland across the Florida peninsula. A recent wind gust of 68 mph (109 km/h) was recorded at a mesonet site located in Fort Myers Beach. There are also multiple tornado warnings in effect across the Florida peninsula.
