Acadia Parish Police Jury has announced Waste Connections Wednesday routes will run on Thursday, provided the hurricane continues on its current path. For the rest of the week, all trash pickup will occur one day after the regular schedule. Thursday routes will run on Friday. Friday routes will run on Saturday.

Residents are reminded to secure cans before wind occurs. Although Acadia parish is out of the path of the storm, there could still be tropical-natured wind and rain effects.
