Lainey Wilson is sharing more music off her forthcoming new album, Whirlwind, set to drop on Aug. 23.

Wilson first dropped the music video for ‘Hang Tight Honey,’ the lead single from the project. Hang Tight Honey, written by Wilson, Driver Williams, Jason Nix, and Paul Sikes, and produced by Jay Joyce, currently sits in the top 20 on the country radio charts. Lainey wrote on her socials: Hang Tight Honey the official music video is out now.  In more ways than one, “4x4xU” is a continuation of my story and a direct follow-up to Hang Tight Honey. So we had to make a couple music videos to match The “4x4xU” music video will be out tomorrow at 1pm ET!  Check out the “Hang Tight Honey” music video now and tune in to the “4x4xU” video premiere tomorrow!”  

Wilson later released the single “4x4xU”, the third song from her forthcoming Whirlwind album following “Country’s Cool Again” and “Hang Tight Honey.” Co-written by Wilson, Jon Decious and Aaron Raitiere, “4x4xU” was produced by frequent collaborator Jay Joyce.  Wilson posted on her social media: “This album kept me in touch with reality while I was getting my footing living the dream. As I continue to share my story, I hope you find yours in mine. This one’s about feeling at home with the one you love. That’s a special sense of peace and freedom if you ask me.  Share this one with someone who makes you feel like you.  “4x4xU” the song and music video are both out now.”
